Kid’s Fishin’ Day was held at Maclay Gardens State Park on Saturday, June 6. State park staff and volunteers manned stations to teach kids all the aspects and safety rules of fishing. Drawings were held for special prizes like fishing rods and tackle boxes donated by local merchants. After going through the stations, the kids had a chance to fish off the dock on Lake Hall. Thank you to all who helped make this special day outdoors possible!
