Scarecrows in Maclay Gardens – October 2014

2014 Scarecrows in the GardensJoin in a fun Tallahassee annual tradition at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. The 2014 Scarecrows in the Gardens isn’t your ordinary scarecrow contest. It’s the time when businesses, schools, community groups, and families let their imaginations run wild.

Create your own, one-of-a-kind, scarecrow to stand guard along the Gardens’ lovely main brick walkway throughout October. It’s a haunting task, but shows off your scariest creation to the hundreds of Park visitors and Moon Over Maclay jazz concert attendees.

Anyone can enter! Contest winners get free tickets to 2014 Moon Over Maclay, the October 5 annual jazz concert in the Park.

SCARECROW REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Proceeds are used to carry out the Friends of Maclay Gardens mission to support and enhance the historic gardens and park.
